"Let's Get It Started" is the sanitized rendition of the original "Let's Get Retarded" by the Black Eyed Peas, taken from their third studio album Elephunk released in 2003. The cleaned-up version was first adapted for promotional use during the 2004 NBA playoffs on ABC in April 2004. It subsequently became the fourth and final single from Elephunk, released through A&M Records and Interscope Records, and was also included on an album reissue.
