Burn the Priest

Burn the Priest was an American heavy metal band active from 1994 to 1999, operating within the groove metal, death metal, and metalcore genres. The group released their self-titled debut album in April 1999 through Legion Records, marking their sole output before undergoing a name change. Guitarist Abe Spear appeared exclusively on this release. The band's initial era concluded shortly after, though they would later resurface under their new identity with additional material, including a retrospective compilation released in 2018.
