Buck Owens

Buck Bowen was an American country and honky tonk musician active from 1929 until his death in 2006. Based in the United States, he became associated with the Bakersfield sound, a regional country music style that emerged in California. Over his long career spanning several decades, Bowen contributed to the development of honky tonk music during a formative period for the genre. He passed away from a heart attack in March 2006.
