Tone Loc is an American rapper, voice artist, and actor born Anthony Terrell Smith. Rising to prominence in the late 1980s, he became known for his distinctive raspy vocal delivery. His breakthrough came with the hit singles "Wild Thing" and "Funky Cold Medina," both of which earned him Grammy Award nominations. Beyond his solo work, Tone Loc gained further recognition as a featured artist on "We're All in the Same Gang," a collaborative West Coast hip-hop track. His contributions helped define the sound of West Coast rap during its classic era.
