Tears for Fears

Tears for Fears is an English pop rock band established in Bath in 1981 by Curt Smith and Roland Orzabal. Emerging following the end of their earlier project Graduate, which drew from mod influences, the duo became prominent figures in the 1980s synth-pop movement. The band achieved significant international commercial success during the Second British Invasion, blending electronic production with sophisticated songwriting across their repertoire of synthpop, new wave, and art pop styles.
