T.I., born Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., is an American rapper and actor from Atlanta, Georgia. He is recognized as a pioneering figure in trap music, alongside fellow Georgia rappers Jeezy and Gucci Mane. Beginning his career in the late 1990s through Ghet-O-Vision Entertainment, an imprint under Arista and LaFace Records, T.I. achieved mainstream prominence following his move to Atlantic Records. In 2003, he established his own label imprint, Grand Hustle Records, solidifying his influence in hip-hop and trap music.
