Sporty Thievz is a hip-hop group from Yonkers, New York, formed in 1997. The ensemble, which began as a trio featuring King Kirk, Big Dubez, and Marlon Bryant Brando, gained prominence in the late 1990s for their satirical approach to contemporary R&B. They achieved widespread recognition with "No Pigeons," a response track to TLC's "No Scrubs" that presented a male perspective on relationships. The group also contributed "Hit It Up" to The Best Man soundtrack and released "Cheapskate" under Ruffhouse Records. Known for their sharp lyricism and humorous commentary, Sporty Thievz distinguished themselves by offering a distinctly male counterpoint to the female-driven R&B sound that dominated their era.
