Son by Four

Son by Four is a Puerto Rican Latin music ensemble that emerged in the late 1990s, founded by Panamanian producer and songwriter Omar Alfanno. The group features vocalists Ángel López, Pedro Quiles, Carlos Javier Montes, and Jorge Montes. Son by Four achieved international recognition through their hit single "A Puro Dolor" and its English-language counterpart, "Purest of Pain." Drawing from salsa and Latin pop traditions, the band has become known for their romantic and emotionally resonant approach to contemporary Latin music.
