Silkk the Shocker

Vyshonn King Miller, professionally known as Silkk the Shocker, is an American hip hop artist from New Orleans, Louisiana. Born in 1975, he rose to prominence in the mid-1990s as a key figure in the West Coast rap scene. As the brother of Master P, Miller leveraged his family connection to join No Limit Records, the influential label that became a breeding ground for Southern hip hop talent. He released his debut album, The Shocker, in 1996, establishing himself as a notable voice in gangsta rap and helping define the label's distinctive sound during its peak commercial period.
