Angel Dust is the fourth studio album by Faith No More, released in mid-1992 through Slash and Reprise Records. It followed their commercially successful 1989 album and marked the final record featuring guitarist Jim Martin. The release represented vocalist Mike Patton's first significant creative contribution to the band's songwriting and musical direction. The band deliberately shifted away from their previous funk metal approach toward a more theatrical aesthetic.
