Pnau is an Australian electronic dance music group from Sydney, active since 1999. Originally a duo, the ensemble expanded to a trio in 2016 with the addition of Sam Littlemore on production. The group—led by Nick Littlemore and Peter Mayes—achieved early recognition with their 1999 debut album Sambanova, which earned an ARIA Award for Best Dance Release. Their 2007 self-titled album further established their critical standing. A significant career development came through Elton John, who signed the act after hearing their work, subsequently collaborating on multiple projects including the 2011 album Soft Universe and the 2012 album Good Morning to the Night, featuring Pnau's reinterpretations of John's compositions.
