Patty Loveless

Patty Loveless is an American country music artist born in 1957 who began her performance career as a teenager. She signed with MCA Records in 1985, though initial releases struggled until her cover of George Jones's "If My Heart Had Windows" achieved commercial success in the late 1980s. After releasing five albums with MCA, she moved to Epic Records in 1993 and continued recording prolifically. Four of her albums have earned platinum certification in the United States. Loveless has charted 44 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, with five reaching number one, establishing herself as a significant figure in neo-traditional and country music.
