The Aquabats are an American rock band originating from Huntington Beach, California, established in 1994. Blending ska, new wave, and punk influences, they have built a distinctive sound rooted in geek rock aesthetics. Throughout the band's history, MC Bat Commander and bassist Crash McLarson have served as its creative core, anchoring the group through numerous personnel changes. Their current primary lineup includes saxophonist and keyboardist Jimmy the Robot, drummer Ricky Fitness, and guitarist Eaglebones Falconhawk. Known for their elaborate live presentations, the Aquabats frequently expand their ensemble with additional musicians including guitarist Chainsaw, the Prince of Karate, trumpeter Cat Boy, and keyboardist Gorney.
