It contains eleven electric blues compositions recorded across five sessions between March 1966 and June 1967, with King performing alongside Booker T. & the M.G.'s and the Memphis Horns. Despite failing to chart commercially, it garnered critical acclaim and is widely regarded as one of the finest blues albums ever produced.
