Luca Turilli is an Italian composer, guitarist, and multi-instrumentalist born in 1972. He founded the symphonic power metal ensemble Rhapsody in 1997, serving as the band's primary creative force alongside keyboardist Alex Staropoli. During their initial partnership until 2011, Turilli composed and arranged the group's entire musical catalogue, helping establish their distinctive sound that blended neoclassical guitar work with orchestral arrangements. His work as a producer and arranger has been central to defining the symphonic metal genre.
