Frank Boeijen

Frank Boeijen is a Dutch singer-songwriter born in 1957. Throughout his 25-year career in music, he has established himself as a significant figure in the Dutch music scene, known for his socially conscious songwriting. His most recognizable works address serious themes: "Kronenburg Park" explores the life of a sex worker, "Zwart Wit" responds to a racially motivated murder in Amsterdam, and "Twee gezichten" examines psychological duality. His contributions to Dutch music were formally recognized when he received the Edison award in 2005.
