Eric Clapton is an English rock and blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter born on 30 March 1945. Regarded as one of the most influential and successful guitarists in rock music history, Clapton has received widespread critical recognition, ranking second on Rolling Stone's list of the greatest guitarists of all time and fourth on Gibson's equivalent ranking. His versatile musical output spans rock, blues, reggae, and pop styles. Among his notable achievements are the "24 Nights" concert series at Monten, establishing him as a prominent figure in classic rock and pop music.
