Fecal Matter was a short-lived punk rock band from Aberdeen, Washington, formed in 1985 by Kurt Cobain (who would later lead Nirvana), along with Dale Crover from the Melvins and drummer Greg Hokanson. Additional Melvins members joined during rehearsals in 1986 before the band dissolved that same year.
