Marty Willson-Piper

Marty Willson-Piper is an English guitarist and singer-songwriter best known for his three-decade tenure with Australian psychedelic rock pioneers The Church, which he joined in 1980 after attending one of their early performances. A cornerstone of the band's sound throughout his 33-year membership, he contributed significantly to their recognition as ARIA Hall of Fame inductees. Beyond The Church, Willson-Piper has maintained an active collaborative career, including stints with English alternative rock outfit All About Eve during the 1990s and 2000s, work with Swedish progressive rock ensemble Anekdoten, and partnerships with diverse artists ranging from Tom Verlaine to Aimee Mann.
