"Eternal Life" was composed by Jeff Buckley and released as the fourth and final single from his album Grace. The song is thought to have been shaped by Buckley's long-standing admiration for Led Zeppelin, which he sought to reflect in the composition. It stands apart from other tracks on the album due to its use of forceful, distorted guitar and bass elements, which differ noticeably from the album's generally softer and more tuneful approach. The song also appears on his 1993 EP Live at Sin-é.
