M.O.T.O is an American garage punk band founded in New Orleans in 1981 by Paul Caporino, who remains the group's sole constant member throughout numerous lineup shifts. Based in New Hampshire, the band has maintained a prolific recording career spanning multiple decades, releasing numerous albums, singles, and CDs. The group has worked with Criminal IQ Records, a Chicago-based independent label, for several of their releases. Despite personnel changes, M.O.T.O has sustained its presence in the garage punk scene since its inception.
