The Memory of Trees is Enya's fourth studio album, released in November 1995 by WEA. Following a hiatus after promoting her previous work and contributing to film soundtracks, Enya collaborated with longtime partners Nicky Ryan and Roma Ryan to create the album beginning in 1993. It was her first album recorded entirely in Ireland, featuring multi-tracked vocals blended with keyboards and Celtic and new age musical elements across multiple languages.
