Made in England is Elton John's twenty-fourth studio album, released in 1995. It marked his first album since Leather Jackets to be produced without Chris Thomas, instead being helmed by Greg Penny alongside John himself. The album was dedicated to John's boyfriend and future husband David Furnish, as well as to the memory of Denis Gauthier and Peter Williams. It represented the final appearance of longtime percussionist Ray Cooper until 2016, and introduced bassist Bob Birch as a permanent member of John's recording and touring ensemble.
