Local H is an American rock band established in 1990 in Zion, Illinois by guitarist and vocalist Scott Lucas. The group emerged from the alternative and post-grunge scene, blending elements of punk rock, hard rock, and noise rock into their sound. Lucas has served as the band's constant creative force throughout its history. After early members departed, Local H evolved into an unconventional two-piece configuration featuring Lucas alongside co-founding drummer Joe Daniels, a format that became central to the band's distinctive identity and approach to rock music.
