Little River Band
Little River Band is an Australian rock group formed in Melbourne in March 1975. The band achieved substantial commercial success across both Australia and the United States, becoming one of the era's most successful acts with over 30 million records sold worldwide. Their Australian releases included six studio albums that reached the top 10 on the Kent Music Report, notably Diamantina Cocktail and First Under the Wire, both peaking at number 2. "Help Is on Its Way" became their sole Australian number-one single in 1977. In the United States, the band charted ten singles in the Billboard Hot 100 top 20, with "Reminiscing" reaching number 3. The group's influence drew from classic rock traditions while establishing themselves as significant contributors to 1970s rock music.
