Linda Scott is an American pop singer and actress who rose to prominence in the late 1950s and early 1960s. She achieved her greatest commercial success at just fifteen years old with the 1961 million-selling single "I've Told Every Little Star." That same year, Scott co-wrote and recorded "Don't Bet Money Honey," which also became a top 10 hit. Over a four-year period, she charted twelve songs total, including "Who's Bet Money Honey," a composition by Hal David and Burt Bacharach inspired by a theatrical film. Scott also appeared in the 1962 musical film Don't Knock the Twist, playing a fictionalized version of herself. She retired from the music industry while still in her early twenties and subsequently pursued a career in teaching.
