...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead is an American alternative rock band from Austin, Texas, established in 1994. Fronted by Conrad Keely and Jason Reece as core members, the group became recognized for their intense and extended live shows. The band has maintained a dedicated following while releasing eleven studio albums, five EPs, and numerous singles between 1998 and 2023. Keely has designed all album artwork, incorporating recurring mythological and historical imagery. Blending post-rock, art rock, and post-hardcore elements, Trail of Dead remains a distinctive voice in American indie and alternative rock.
