Shep & the Limelites

The Limelites were an American vocal group active from late 1959 to mid-1963. Operating during the early 1960s, they participated in the doo-wop and R&B music scene that characterized the era. The group's existence spanned approximately four years, during which they contributed to the vocal harmony traditions popular in American popular music at the time. Though their recording career was relatively brief, they remain part of the historical record of early 1960s vocal group music.
