The Limeliters

The Limeliters are an American folk music ensemble established in July 1959 by Lou Gottlieb, Alex Hassilev, and Glenn Yarbrough. The group performed actively through the mid-1960s before disbanding. After a sixteen-year break, the three founding members reunited and resumed touring. Following Hassilev's retirement in 2006, The Limeliters continued as a working ensemble with subsequent performers, maintaining their presence in folk music performance.
