Lillian Glinn
Lillian Glinn was an American blues and vaudeville performer whose career spanned the early-to-mid twentieth century. Active from 1902 until her death in 1978, she established herself as a significant figure in classic and country blues, performing extensively in black vaudeville circuits. Her recorded work included notable titles such as "Black Man Blues," "Doggin' Me Blues," and "Atlanta Blues." Despite her contributions to the blues tradition, Glinn remained relatively obscure; blues historian Paul Oliver identified her among female blues singers deserving greater recognition than they have historically received.
