Lighthouse Family

Lighthouse Family was a British pop soul duo formed in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1993 by singer Tunde Baiyewu and songwriter Paul Tucker, who met while studying at university and working together at a local bar. The group rose to prominence in the mid-1990s with their debut album Ocean Drive, released in 1995, which achieved substantial commercial success with over 1.8 million copies sold in the UK. Known for their accessible easy listening sound, they became popular across Europe during the late 1990s and early 2000s before the duo's initial run concluded in the early 2000s.
