The Lettermen are an American male vocal trio known for their polished close-harmony approach to pop music with understated instrumental arrangements. Formed in 1959, the group achieved substantial commercial success throughout their career, including two Top 10 hits on the mainstream charts and a remarkable string of 16 Top 10 placements on the Adult Contemporary chart. Their prolific recording output resulted in 32 consecutive albums on the Billboard charts, along with 11 gold certifications and four Grammy nominations, establishing them as a significant force in pop music during the latter half of the twentieth century.
