24‐7 Spyz
24-7 Spyz are an American heavy metal band from the South Bronx, New York, established in 1986. The group, featuring guitarist Jimi Hazel, bassist Rick Skatore, drummer Kindu Phibes, and vocalist P. Fluid, blends hard rock and metal with influences from funk, jazz, R&B, soul, reggae, and hardcore punk. Their work in rap metal and funk metal earned critical comparisons to pioneering acts like Living Colour and Bad Brains. After dissolving in 1998, the band reunited in 2003 and released their first original album in over a decade in 2006. As of 2021, Hazel, Skatore, and drummer Tobias Ralph continue the project.
