Anahí is a Mexican singer, songwriter and actress born in 1983. She began her entertainment career in 1986 as a child actor, appearing in numerous telenovelas produced by Televisa throughout the 1990s. Her breakthrough leading role came in 2000 with Primer Amor... A Mil por Hora. International recognition followed in 2004 when she starred in the telenovela Rebelde and became a member of RBD, a Latin pop group that achieved significant commercial success with over 15 million records sold worldwide and two Latin Grammy Award nominations. She has worked across both television and music throughout her career.
