Making Movies is the third studio album by the British rock band Dire Straits, issued on 17 October 1980 through various record labels depending on region. The album features the successful single "Romeo and Juliet," which achieved a number 8 position on the UK Singles Chart, and "Tunnel of Love," which was included in the 1982 film An Officer and a Gentleman starring Richard Gere.
