"Fools" is a synth-pop track by the German band Alphaville, released in July 1994 through WEA as the lead single from their fourth studio album Prostitute. The song was written by Marian Gold, Bernhard Lloyd, and Ricky Echolette. It achieved chart success in Finland and Germany, ranking in the top 40 and top 70 respectively. This marked their fourteenth single overall and represented their final charting single until 2011.
