La Polla Records is a punk rock band originating from the Basque Country, established in 1979 in Salvatierra/Agurain, Álava. The group was formed by vocalist Evaristo Páramos, bassist Maleguin, drummer Fernandito, and guitarists Txarly and Sumé. Known for their provocative name and confrontational approach, the band's lyrics delivered sharp critiques of fascism, militarism, capitalism, and catholicism. Their uncompromising stance and musical style proved highly influential within the Spanish-language punk movement, establishing them as significant figures in European punk rock history.
