Krisdayanti is an Indonesian singer, actress, and politician born on March 24, 1975. She began her entertainment career as a child, performing vocals for the film Megaloman at age nine. Her first album release, Biasa Saja, came three years later alongside the Catatan Si Emon soundtrack. The younger sister of renowned Indonesian vocalist Yuni Shara, Krisdayanti built her early career through participation in singing and modeling competitions during her high school years, including a notable placement as a finalist in the 1991 GADIS magazine cover model competition. She is known for her work in pop and ballad music genres.
