Kinki Kids is a Japanese duo formed in 1993, consisting of Koichi Domoto and Tsuyoshi Domoto under Starto Entertainment. The pair officially debuted on July 21, 1997. Despite sharing a surname, the members are unrelated; their group name derives from the Kinki region where both were born. With over 30 million physical copies sold, Kinki Kids ranks among the best-selling boy groups in Asian history and the top 20 best-selling artists of all time in Japan.
