The track appeared on Berry Is on Top, his debut compilation album released that same year. Berry performed the song in two films: Go, Johnny Go! from 1959 and Hail! Hail! Rock 'n' Roll from 1987. Notably, he had previously released "Run Rudolph Run" the year before, which shared the same musical melody.
