Greg Graffin

Greg Graffin

Greg Graffin is an American musician best known as the lead vocalist of punk rock band Bad Religion. Beginning his solo career in 1964, Graffin ventured into markedly different musical territory with his debut album American Lesion, which stripped away the loud guitars and layered harmonies characteristic of his band work. The album showcases Graffin's voice accompanied primarily by acoustic guitar and piano arrangements, presenting a more intimate and introspective sound. A notable example of his stylistic range is "Cease," which appears on the album as a sparse piano ballad, contrasting sharply with its later punk rock rendition on Bad Religion's The Gray Race.
