Karen Clark Sheard
Karen Clark-Sheard is an American gospel singer and songwriter born in 1960. She became the youngest member of the Clark Sisters, a prominent gospel ensemble established in 1973. Throughout her career, Clark-Sheard has maintained a dual presence in gospel music, releasing six solo albums while contributing to 17 recordings with the Clark Sisters. She is also the mother of contemporary gospel artist Kierra Sheard, and the two frequently perform and record together, continuing the family's significant influence in gospel music.
