Kangta (An Chil-hyun) is a South Korean entertainer born in 1979 who rose to prominence as a member of the pioneering boy band H.O.T. Beyond his work as a singer and performer, he has established himself as a composer, songwriter, and music producer. Since 2005, Kangta has held an executive position at SM Entertainment, the agency that managed his early career. In recent years, he has expanded his production responsibilities, serving as chief producer of Smashhit under SM's Kreation Music Rights label from 2023 and as general producer of the SMArt music label beginning in 2025.
