Lovers in the City is Tanita Tikaram's fifth studio album, released in 1995 by East West Records. The album features backing vocals from Jennifer Warnes on four tracks. Three singles were released from the album: "I Might Be Crying" reached number 64 on the UK charts, "Wonderful Shadow" peaked at number 198, and "Yodelling Song" was released only in select continental European countries. The album itself achieved number 75 on the UK charts.
