JS-16 is a Finnish musician, DJ, and record producer who emerged in the mid-1990s. He gained international recognition as a producer for the hip hop group Bomfunk MC's, particularly through their global hit "Freestyler." His production work extended to collaborations with Finnish electronic artist Darude. In 1998, JS-16 released his debut studio album, Stomping System, establishing himself as a solo artist. Beyond his recording work, he co-founded the DJ duo Dallas Superstars alongside Heikki L and established his own label, 16 Inch Records, which focuses on dance music releases.
