"Modern Love" is a rock and new wave song written by David Bowie that opened his 1983 album Let's Dance. It was released as the third single from the album later that year. The track was co-produced by Bowie and Nile Rodgers and recorded at the Power Station in Manhattan, being among the first songs completed for the album. Bowie performed it regularly on the Serious Moonlight Tour, typically as a closing number. A music video directed by Jim Yukich was released in 1983 and received significant MTV airplay.
