Joan Osborne

Joan Osborne is an American singer-songwriter born in 1963 who has established herself across rock, pop, folk, blues rock, and country genres. She achieved international prominence with her 1995 debut album Relish, particularly through the single "One of Us," written by Eric Bazilian. The album and its lead track together earned seven Grammy nominations and became worldwide successes. Beyond her solo work, Osborne has collaborated with the legendary Funk Brothers, the session musicians who backed Motown's most iconic artists, and appeared in the 2002 documentary Standing in the Shadows of Motown. Her versatile career spans multiple musical styles including soul, R&B, and blues.
