Alien 9 is a Japanese manga series created by Hitoshi Tomizawa that first appeared in Young Champion magazine from 1998 to 1999, comprising three compiled volumes. The work centers on young protagonists who encounter creatures with designs reminiscent of popular monster-collection media. Despite its initial presentation as a lighthearted narrative, the series is distinguished by its combination of cute aesthetic sensibilities and graphic violence. Tomizawa later expanded the franchise with two sequel projects: Alien 9 Emulators in 2003 and Alien 9 Next in 2015, both continuing the original story's thematic approach.
