J.C. Chasez is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, actor, and record producer. Born in 1976, he began his entertainment career on The All-New Mickey Mouse Club before achieving international recognition as a founding member of NSYNC. The boy band became one of the best-selling acts in music history, with over 70 million records sold globally during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Following the group's initial hiatus in 2002, Chasez launched his solo career with the single "Blowin' Me Up" and released his debut album Schizophrenic in 2004. Beyond his recording work, he has established himself as a prolific songwriter and producer, collaborating with diverse artists across multiple genres and serving as a judge on America's Best Dance Crew.
