Hunters & Collectors
Hunters & Collectors are an Australian rock band from Melbourne, formed in 1981. Led by founding member and singer-songwriter Mark Seymour, the group built its sound around a core lineup including John Archer on bass and Doug Falconer on drums, complemented by a distinctive brass and keyboard section featuring Jack Howard, Jeremy Smith, and Michael Waters. The band's creative vision was shaped by founding audio engineer and designer Robert Miles. Guitarist Barry Palmer joined in 1988 and remained integral to their sound until the group disbanded in 1998. The band reunited in 2013 with their final-era lineup.
